BIO (or what Wikipedia says about the band, plus SME's own commentary in red.):
Neko Case (born September 8, 1970 in Alexandria, Virginia) is an American singer-songwriter, best known for her solo career and as a member of the New Pornographers. Her music is frequently labeled alternative country, although Case doesn't describe it in that way. She recorded and toured for several years as Neko Case & Her Boyfriends before switching to her own name. Case primarily writes her own material, but also performs and has recorded cover versions of songs by artists such as Loretta Lynn, Tom Waits, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Bob Dylan, Hank Williams and even Queen. She frequently infuses humorous narratives into her live sets, a habit she says she picked up from Wanda Jackson.
She is protective of her artistic independence, combining punk's "do it yourself ethic," a strong business sense, and clear opinions about her artistic goals. She has spurned offers from major record labels because they don't offer her enough control of her music, remaining affiliated with Mint Records in Canada and Bloodshot and ANTI- in the U.S. In addition, she is a woman whose striking beauty is matched only by her amazing voice. She is also a redhead and that makes her very, very sexy.

BEST LINE FROM SONG:
Oh my sparrow it's too late
Your body limp beneath my feet
Your dusty eyes cold as clay
You didn't hear my warning
.
POINTLESS TRIVIA THAT'S SORT OF RELATED TO THE SONG:
Sparrows are little birds of the Order Passeriformes and the Family Passeridae. They go "chirp chirp chirp" or "pio pio pio" if they happen to speak Spanish.

BONUS SEXY PIC (If no sexy pic of the artist is available, we typed the song title plus "sexy" and/or "nude" into Google image search and this is what we got.):

Here's a photo of the gorgeous Neko Case from a beautiful pictorial she did for the now defunct Seatlle Magazine, Kutie. And if you've never heard Neko Case, keep in mind that her singing and music is on par and even better than her looks. If that's even possible. So don't forget to hear the song and as an added bonus I've posted the full pictorial from Kutie magazine on the following page. (Copyright Kutie Magazine - R.I.P. Kutie Magazine, you will be missed)
